Multi-Level Interpretations
Jeff says about this workshop:
One of the great gifts and challenges of natal astrology is that charts can be interpreted in so many different ways. Various schools of astrology and individual practitioners offer a wide range of approaches to deriving meaning from the symbols of planets, signs, houses and aspects. This workshop is based on exploring birth charts from material, psychological and spiritual perspectives.
We will dig deeply into charts of the attendees as Jeff leads the group through a playful and sometimes provocative process that is bound to expand astrological knowledge and self-awareness.
We will advance our interpretation skills by breaking charts down into their smallest pieces and then weave them back together to grasp the patterns that complement and contrast with one another to produce the matrix of personality. The unique combinations of each chart will be opened to teach us all how to be more skillful astrologers in an engaging environment of masterful leadership and audience participation.
Tracking Trends 2011-2012
We don’t need Mayan prophecies to know that the world is changing at a rapid pace as the news keeps reminding us of the perils and potentials of living in these dramatic times. Astrological patterns reinforce the notion that humanity may be coming to a crossroads at which the decisions we make could determine our future on this planet. As astrologers, though, we have the tools to discern the meaning of these trends so that we are able to participate them with consciousness and creativity.
This workshop will provide a look back to the Uranus-Pluto conjunction in the mid-1960s that set the stage for what’s coming next. The series of powerful squares between revolutionary Uranus and transformational Pluto from 2012-15 represents challenges and opportunities collectively and individually.
Jeff will lay out some original ideas about how these might work and the best ways we can apply them in our lives. He will use examples from attendees’ charts to illustrate these points, providing personal guidance and insights essential to students and practitioners of astrology.
