Julian Assange – Current Transits

The suspected terrorist, Aussie born Julian Assange, is a “man in the news” right now. His birth date is not easy to locate but according to Interpol he was born July 3, 1971, in Townsville, Australia.
Without a birth time, I set up a solar chart with whole sign houses. He would have a Scorpio Moon, as it holds for any birth time that day, and the placements (Venus/Saturn in the 12th, Mars in the 8th, Neptune in the 6th) give a T Square with Mars in a rather wide orb, as the focal point planet. The Scorpio Moon is of course ‘right on’ in keeping with his expertise at exposing the underbelly of things.
Looking at the current transits:
He has the long running conjunction of Jupiter/Uranus opposing his Pluto at 27 Virgo, so his natal 6/8/12 houses are activated by current transits, and more upcoming with Neptune entering Pisces on April 5, 2011, which will square natal Neptune at 0 Sagittarius and natal Saturn at 1 Gemini (transiting Neptune thus forming another T Square here) Also a Saturn transit across natal Uranus will make a Direct Station on June 13, 2011. A lot going on, and more to come, so the projections are that Mr. Assange will be ‘in the news’ for many more months. It will be interesting to see how long he can elude The Authorities, as the US wants to have him classified as a Terrorist.
Another interesting natal planetary pattern he has is Saturn closely opposing the
conjunction of Jupiter, Neptune. In addition Saturn, while a bit out of orb, is none the less close to the contra-mid-point of this pair. This pattern can suggest many
things of course, but it may reveal a high idealism with Saturn acting as the
symbolic “obstruction to its realization.” Munkasey in his book on mid-points
has one description of this Jupiter/Neptune pair as being associated with “scandals about growth, values, or belief systems; hypocrisy growing as a form of internal policy; a
legal system where ethics and morals are based upon favors and payoffs; degradation in systems of justice.”
I did notice that he has Uranus in the Solar 4th square his Sun. Thus he is a
‘man on the move’ and always has been it seems. A total non-conformist, he is thorn in
the side of The Establishment.
